About me
I have 15 years frontend, backend and sysadmin experience and I aim to become a super developer specializing in building the type of web applications no-one else can. I'm a born developer and keep extending my skill set into very diverse parts of web development.
How I keep my skills sharp
Besides attending monthly meetups related to machine learning and PHP/Linux, I speed read about a 1,000 articles a day relating to web development from my Feedly account. I also try to be up to date with all new courses on Lynda, Datacamp and Stanford related to web/software development.
I am also working on 2 open source projects: HeadMap (which is a enterprise school management system built on RethinkDB and Horizon). And also, working on "packaging" my personal CMS I've developed over the last 10 years called RadonCMS. Both are currently private on Github, until i've finalized some licensing issues related to open-sourcing some code libraries.

Mainly worked on the South African Tourism (SAT) account which consisted of about 100 sites written in a combination of Laravel, Expression Engine, CakePHP, Codeigniter, Silverstripe, Wordpress, and ASP.NET.
My main role and responsibilities consisted of incrementally improving, redesigning and improving their systems and database architecture across all their sites, while being technical lead for the rest of the projects being developed by Hellocomputer.
